Issa Ba'abish, “Abu George”, is our Head Chef and has joined the Tantur team in 2012. He is responsible for the overall management of the menu, meal preparation, and kitchen staff.
Ba'abish brings over 20 years of experience in culinary arts, has participated in regional culinary exhibitions, and is also responsible for the annual Greek Orthodox Christmas banquet at Nativity Church. Additionally, he teaches culinary arts at St. Joseph School in Bethlehem.
Ba'abish is a Bethlehem native and is married with four children.
Ba'abish has a Diploma in Hotel Management.
